About the project
A checkpoint before the next phase.
Culture Monke is a moment of return. Before moving forward, I am revisiting the styles, systems, textures, and visual instincts that have shaped my work since I began minting digital art in 2021.
Each Culture Monke is a 1/1/222: part character, part archive, part playground. A Monke and his Canvas, holding the experiments close while letting them collide into something new.
It feels like a checkpoint: a way to gather the loose threads, look at them one more time, and let them become a new center of gravity. Not an ending, but a consolidation. A place to recognize what has been there all along, then move from here with a clearer signal.
When you take home a Culture Monke, you are taking home a culmination of glitch experiments that refuse the traditional definition of glitch, and maybe bend that definition a little further by existing.
